If memory serves this is the same judge that let a rapist go several months ago...

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - An Avon man who had been found with scores of images of child pornography on his computer and videos of children being violently raped has avoided prison time.
Edward J. Burke III, 47, was given a suspended sentence last week after going into a courtroom expecting to spend up to four years behind bars.
Burke, 47, of Avon, was convicted in a plea deal of two counts of first-degree possession of child pornography.
My heart breaks to think of all the innocent children this man exploited and for the judge to give him a suspended sentence is more than I can understand. I don't care if he has been in a sex offenders program for 10 years he is still at risk. Doesn't this judge know that this is a mental illness and there isn't a cure for this type of behavior. I just pray the judge doesn't ever have to live to regret their decision. Sadden beyond words.
